We have been discussing what Trapper would do if he had to retire, over here on this thread Trapper's Retirement Feel free to go add some comments there too.

So, with that in mind, and for no other reason, I thought it would be interesting to discuss what we think Adam would do if he had to retire from ranching. Now I know in the series he's supposed to have gone off to sea, emigrated to Australia, or some such nonsense, :winky but if we ignore that and just think of him being a rancher, that he stayed on the Ponderosa . . . what would he do if he was injured (like Pa, in Prime of Life) and could no longer help out on the ranch. Or when he got older and was unable to still carry on being a rancher, riding a horse, going on cattle drives, how would he spend his time? Where do you see Adam in the future?
